In Poznań's Kindergarten No. 16 Pszczółki, which belongs to Kindergarten Complex No. 1, a serious incident occurred on June 16. A five-year-old child threw a chair at the back of another girl's head, which resulted in her being hospitalized. The injured girl's mother reports that the child had a 6 cm cut on her head and a large tumor.

The director of the facility, Beata Nowicka, confirmed the accident and said that the chair was made of wood and the cut on the head was about 3 cm. According to the mother, the aggressor has been creating dangerous situations in the kindergarten for two years, including throwing blocks that caused bumps (one child ended up with a large bump on his forehead), hitting children in the stomach and groin, and stepping on another girl's finger so hard that the nail came off.

On June 30th they will announce the details of the revolution for workers.
Behavioral problems are becoming more frequent

Director Nowicka, quoted by epoznan.pl, admits that "bad behavior in children and the inability to cope with emotions are happening more and more often in kindergarten" and are a common problem. She assures that the child causing problems received psychological and pedagogical help, and cooperation with the family is also necessary.

The director also informed that under the current regulations it is not possible to remove a child from the facility for bad behavior, but she assures that every effort will be made for the safety of the charges and the satisfaction of the parents. A course of action has already been planned to improve the situation in this group of children.
